— How it works

  • Choose whether you want an online EPA or will.
  • There are 3 types of online wills. If you don't know which option best suits your needs, then answer some quick questions here and Public Trust will help you determine which option is right for you.
  • Then create your account and follow the easy step-by-step process to choose all your options including the executor of your will, the guardians for your children and any beneficiaries of your estate.
  • When your document is created, remember to use the exclusive HealthCarePlus code to get your discount
  • Once paid for, you can download, review, and amend it for 30 days.
  • When you're happy with your document, make it legally valid. That’s easy too - it must be printed and physically signed in front of two witnesses. You don't need a lawyer or JP to witness your will, but your two witnesses must be people who don't benefit from the will.

— Online wills and enduring powers of attorney

Online wills

Your will is often your last message to your loved ones. It is a legal document that is unique to you and can help make sure your assets, the people and things you love are taken care of after you’re gone.

It also specifies who is responsible for carrying out your final wishes; this person is known as the executor of your will.

Online Enduring Powers of Attorney

Enduring powers of attorney (EPAs) are legal documents that allow you to appoint someone you trust to make important decisions on your behalf if you can’t make these decisions yourself due to illness or injury. There are two types:

Personal care and welfare EPA - You appoint someone to make decisions about your wellbeing, such as where you live and how you will be cared for.

Property and finance EPA - You appoint someone or a specialist organisation to take care of your finances and property, such as paying bills and managing assets.
