The staff of HealthCarePlus have happily supported Specsavers Community Program by donating 10 pairs of glasses.
The Specsavers Community Program is a nationwide glasses recycling program in partnership with Lions Recycle For Sight that delivers quality glasses and sunglasses to people in need overseas.
You too can get behind this worthy cause by donating those old glasses cluttering up your drawers and cupboards! Simply bring your pre-loved glasses into your local Specsavers store and place them in the glasses recycling box or hand them to a team member.
No old glasses? Perhaps it's time to have that eye test you've been meaning to get around to and replace your current glasses! Don't forget that through your HealthCarePlus plan, you can claim up to $250 per calendar year when glasses/lenses are purchased due to a change in vision! (terms and conditions apply)

Working together for Better Funding
On behalf of their unions, General Secretaries Michael Stevenson (PPTA) & Paul Goulter (NZEI) invited HealthCarePlus to support and attend the current Paid Union Meetings. They were snapped here at our stand during the first meeting in the Auckland Town Hall, where approximately 1400 NZEI & PPTA members turned up to vote against 'a Global Budget' funding of schools and education staff. HealthCarePlus is proud to be a supporter at a significant number of these Paid Union Meetings across New Zealand.
